There is lots going on at the shop this spring!
First of all, in conjunction with the Berks Quilter's Guild
and the Lebanon Quilter's Guild, In Stitches is collecting
quilts to be sent to the Daniel Jean Orphage in Haiti.
They desperately need something to lay on besides the
hard ground. Please make a quilt or donate to help us with
this cause. Please check the "Events and Sales" page to
make a donation. All the money collected will go towards
supplies like batting, fabrics and threads to make these
quilts.
In Stitches is planning a bus trip to New York City this
spring. Join us for a fun day visiting the Garment District.
The date is Friday, April 16th (hopefully you didn't give
all your money to the government the day before!). Please
click on the "Events and Sales" button for complete
information.
Then we have our second annual May Days spring shop
hop coming up the first week in May. Piece by Piece in
Ephrata, Weaver's Drygoods in Lititz and In Stitches are
joining together to make a beautiful table runner with the
new line by Nancy Halvorsen called "Garden Song". This
line is so soft and beautiful- think pastels. It's sure to be
a fun day visiting local quilt shops, getting lots of ideas,
winning some door prizes, gathering some more fabric...!
